Presentation Resources
For this project, you are responsible for creating a 3-5 minute presentation that provides background information of the time period, discusses the background of the novel, and answers one of the essential questions. You may use any presentation platform you are comfortable using that will enhance the creativity and originality of your presentation. It is recommended that you use of the following:
Presentation Platforms
WeVideo
At www.wevideo.com, use your school email and password to log in to begin creating a presentation, slideshow, or video. WeVideo Academy is a great place to learn quickly how to make and edit videos that look professional.
Windows Photo and Movie Editor
On the school desktops, you can use the photo app in Windows 10 to design a presentation from your stored images. The app provides suggestions, but you can adjust timing, music and text elements. For a quick overview, watch this YouTube video, or read this step by step process from Windows Central.
Prezi
Use Prezi to design a unique project using images, music, and voice-overs. Create a free student account at www.prezi.com. Here is a quick video to get you started.
Audio and Images
Soundzabound
Located on the library website, this audio database has several thousands of songs, sound effects, and audio clips to enhance your presentation without having to worry about copyright infringement.
Britannica Image Quest
Use Image Quest to locate accurate pictures and images of the time period. It is located on the library website.
